Additional information:

The journalist said on her Facebook page that she received messages with threats on their phone. She also received fake calls from Russian numbers and messages in all messengers at the same time. Alena Dub also reported that there was an attempt to hack her social media accounts. She attributes the following attack with her previous work for the RFE/RL's project "Crimea. Realities".
