Criminal cases have been initiated against journalists and bloggers Daler Imomali and Abdullo Gurbati. Daler's lawyer Abdurakhmon Sharipov said they had been detained. «A criminal case was opened against Daler Imomali under two articles: Part 1 of Article 259 (illegal entrepreneurship) by the prosecutor's office in Dushanbe and Paragraph A of Part 2 of Article 346 (false accusation) by the Shohmansur District Prosecutor's Office», – he said. As for Gurbati, the Shokhmansur District Prosecutor's Office brought charges against him under Part 1 of Article 328 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan (use of violence against a government official) after a district police officer filed a complaint, Abdurakhmon Sharipov said. Both detainees are currently held in the temporary detention centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Dushanbe. Daler Imomali partially pleaded guilty, while Abdullo Gurbati, who was Imomali's cameraman, pleaded not guilty, the lawyer added.
