On his Facebook page, Daler Imomali said that he has been detained by the police officers and taken to the police department of the Sino district of Dushanbe. The detention took place after he tried to talk to students participating in the rehearsals to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tajikistan’s independence. According to Imomali, he wanted to know if students were provided with water and food during the rehearsal. He was held for an hour and a half in the police department. He was threatened that he would be arrested for 15 days next time if he breaks the law. He was later released.
