Yulia Boychenko, journalist with the Mykolaiv-based online media outlet MykVisti, received a message that appeared to be an event invitation and contained a phishing link disguised as a registration form. Although the link appeared to direct to a legitimate Google form, it actually led to a counterfeit page designed to replicate Google’s official interface. In reality, the page was hosted on a different domain, registered in August 2025 through a Russian domain registrar.
