The Savelovsky District Court in Moscow has fined investigative journalist Mikhail Rubin 40,000 roubles under Part 2 of Article 19.34 of the Russian Code of Administrative Offences (“violation of the regulations governing the activities of a foreign agent”). Rubin and the publication Proekt were added to the register of “foreign agents” on 23 July 2021.
