At the instruction of Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, law enforcement agencies will investigate 15 local Telegram channels that reported on Ukrainian strikes on the region on 9 January. The list includes the projects Pepel and Apolitika, as well as Typical Belgorod, Belgorod Informant and Belgorod Today. Gladkov described the channels as “hostile” and accused them of carrying out a “large-scale spread of false information intended to provoke panic among the population.”
