On August 26, 2023, in the village of Khaish, Mestia Municipality, journalist Emma Gogokhia and the cameraman of Mtavari TV were physically attacked while carrying out their journalistic activities. The attackers seized camera, microphone, transmitter and personal phone from the media representatives and verbally insulted them.
