Journalist Ali Zeynal, who was arrested in connection with the Toplum TV case, was placed in a punishment cell, according to his family. He was reportedly penalised after expressing dissatisfaction with the ventilation system in the Penitentiary Service’s transport vehicle during his transfer to trial. On April 27, Zeynal was released from the punishment cell.
