Artur Pahasian was detained by security officials when he was covering a protest rally in Minsk. He was taken to the Frunzenski District Police Department, where he was drawn up a report for violation of the law on mass events (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). He was held in the detention centre until the trial. On September 28, the court found the journalist guilty and arrested him for 12 days.
