On 25 April, the Court of Aktobe found Dana Zhanay guilty under two articles of the Administrative Code - "violation of the state of emergency" and "acts that provoke a breach of law and order during a state of emergency". Dana Zhanay was fined 138,900 tenge (325 USD). According to the court’s ruling, the offence was based on the fact that after the trial of civil activists, she was on the courthouse porch recoding the video message.
