The correspondent of the KazTAG news agency in Karaganda Diana Saparkyzy was attacked by an unknown man while trying to film the events at the Kazakhstan mine of ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC, where a fire broke out and five people died. The man took away her phone and erased some files. On the same day, the journalist filed a complaint with the police. On August 22, Diana Saparkyzy expressed her fears that the police were «dragging» the case.
