The journalist Dmitry Kartsev was charged with participation in the activities of an «undesirable organisation» (Article 20.33 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). The case was brought to the Kuzminsky District Court of Moscow. Kartsev worked for five years for the media outlet Meduza, then became editor of the German website Dekoder. Both media outlets were declared «undesirable» organisations by the Russian authorities.
