The Speaker of Parliament Shalva Papuashvili said that the investigation of journalist Gela Mtivlishvili, which was probing into possible reasons and handling of the landslide in Shovi, was “full of lies”. The investigation was nominated for the best investigation at the EU Prize in Journalism award. Papuashvili “demanded an explanation” from the delegation as to why this story was shortlisted for the award.
