On May 15, the LLC "MPG" filed a lawsuit in the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against opposition political figure Grant Bagratyan and the LLC "Daily Newspaper Hraparak" (Hraparak), demanding a retraction of information damaging to its business reputation and seeking compensation of 1 million drams (over $2,500) from Grant Bagratyan for defamation, as well as court fees. The lawsuit was prompted by a video published on March 30 on the Hraparak-TV YouTube channel titled "It Looks Like Madness and the Behavior of an Immoral Woman," which included the following statement by Bagratyan about the plaintiff: "The surveys conducted by the authorities, especially those by Gallup and someone named Aram Navasardyan, look like this: they order the numbers—he draws them, they give money—he draws them..." The case is currently under review.
