The Sumgayit Court for Serious Crimes, blogger Jamil Mammadli has been detained for the period of the judicial investigation. Mammadli is charged under the following Articles of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan: 221.2.2 (hooliganism committed by a group of persons by prior agreement), 182.2.1 (extortion by threats by a group of persons, by prior agreement of property in a significant amount) and 178.2 (fraud committed by a group of persons.)
