Rosfinmonitoring has added journalist Ksenia Luchenko to its list of terrorists and extremists. She is facing a criminal case under Article 207.3 of the Russian Criminal Code for allegedly spreading “false information” about the Russian army (Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Luchenko currently resides outside Russia. The investigation claims that Luchenko posted on the website of an “undesirable” organisation and in one of the messaging apps “publications which, according to expert analysis, contain knowingly false information about the actions of the Russian Armed Forces on the territory of another state.” No further details of the charges were provided in the Investigative Committee’s press release.
