TV8 channel journalist Mariana Rață was verbally insulted from the town hall tribune by the general mayor of Chisinau, Ion Ceban, the leader of the National Alternative Movement (MAN) during the meeting on December 9, 2024. He said: "That's why I keep looking at the media outlets, at the trolls of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) and I invite these slobbery clowns to come out to the districts and villages of the Republic of Moldova, to see with their own eyes how things are there.
