The Tagansky District Court of Moscow fined journalist Roman Badanin RUB 30,000 under the article on violation of the procedure for the activity of a «foreign agent» (Part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). Badanin, the founder and head of the investigative media outlets Proekt and Agentstvo, was included in the register of «foreign agents» in the summer of 2021. After that, he was fined for the lack of markings in his posts and for the absence of a report on the activities of a «foreign agent».
