The Tbilisi City Court fined Saba Sordia, journalist of Indigo Magazine, GEL 2500 (EUR 800) for disobeying police. Saba Sordia was arrested on 6 April during a street raid. Police searched him without a warrant. When asked to open his bag Sordia said, he would do this himself, further he was arrested and spent 48 hours in detention. Judge announced the verdict on 17 April. Sordia plans to appeal the decision.
