Shokhrukhi Ismoil was kidnapped during the day by military recruitment officers in central Dushanbe. He was forcibly put into a taxi and taken to the military recruitment office. The same evening, he was sent for compulsory military service in eastern Tajikistan. A video of the abduction was filmed by passers-by and posted on the internet.
