On May 9, city residents laid flowers at the Soldier’s Glory Memorial. Journalist Tetiana Tsyrulnik was covering the event. Afterwards, an unidentified man aggressively demanded that the journalist leave, started pushing her out and hit her in the face. Poltava police opened criminal proceedings over violence against the journalist.
