The website of the Svetlahorsk-based private TV channel Ranak was blocked. The website is inaccessible to users neither in Belarus, nor abroad. On June 11, eight employees of the TV channel were detained in Svetlahorsk. The real reason for the detention could be the story about the explosion at the Central Station in Svetlahorsk, which killed three people. All the detainees were reported under Part 2 of Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus. The men were sentenced to 7 days of administrative arrest, the women — to a fine.
