An anonymous user on the social network for gay dating posted a photo of Vlad Avdeev, a blogger and journalist for the Hook.report, openly calling him gay. This is the third attack on a journalist in two years. Earlier, on July 23, 2020, he was beaten and robbed by unknown people, and on July 30, 2020, a troll posted an announcement online that Avdeev provides sex services. It is worth to note that sexual contact between men in Uzbekistan is a criminal offence and is punishable by up to three years in prison.
