Azerbaijani journalist Afgan Sadygov was arrested in Tbilisi two weeks after the Georgian border guards barred him from leaving Georgia unless he travels to Azerbaijan. The Interior Ministry said Azerbaijan requested his extradition. His wife, Sevinj Sadygova, also a journalist, said the arrest is political and if he is sent back to Azerbaijan he will be jailed.
