The Tbilisi City Court convicted Publika journalist Aleksandre Keshelashvili of disobeying the police during a large anti-government protest on November 29th. While on duty at the protest, Keshelashvili was detained, severely beaten, required nose surgery, and had two cameras confiscated by the police. He was subsequently charged with disobeying the police and petty hooliganism. Although the latter charge was dropped, he was found guilty of disobedience and received a verbal reprimand from the court.
