The Belarusian provider blocked Brest-based news website brestnote.by at the demand of the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor). Natalia Hrynchak, the owner of the website, was demanded to remove a publication that chronicled the Russian military aggression in Ukraine. When she asked the provider what Roskomnadzor had to do with it, she heard that it had the right to do so. The website was unblocked after the material about the war in Ukraine was removed.
