Police issued an administrative violation protocol for Lasha Jioshvili, camera operator of TV Pirveli, for his Facebook post, where he "insulted police". Jioshvili published a video of police giving him the protocol for violating criminal code for insulting a police officer. Jioshvili said: "The patrol police officers called me and told me that a case has been opened against me under the second part of Article 173, which provides for verbal insults to the police. They said they are filing a lawsuit with the court."
