The General Prosecutor's Office of Tajikistan initiated a criminal proceeding under the article of fraud against Muhammadikbol Saduridinov, editor-in-chief of Isloh.net. According to the statement, the journalist embezzled money from three Tajik citizens worth $430,000. Saduridinov called the accusation "groundless" and stated that, on contrary, he has not yet been repaid thousands of dollars of debt. 42-year-old Saduridinov was granted political asylum in one of the European countries.
