The Ekibastuz-based blogger, Murat Nukin, known as Mura Nukin, received a letter from the administration of Kazakhtelecom JSC with a demand to delete «in all social networks» a video called «Call to Kot...ktelecom» (the first two syllables are an indecent designation of the male sexual organ in Kazakh). With the video, the blogger reacted to the statement of the Minister of Digital Development of Kazakhstan that the capital of Kazakhstan has overtaken Tokyo in terms of mobile Internet speed, while there is an increase in complaints about poor Internet. The blogger emphasised that in the video, where he played a conversation between a subscriber and a certain telecom operator «Kot*ktelecom» and mocked the situation with the Internet and tariffs, he never once said the word «Kazakhtelecom».
